A Walk through Life ©photography by Isadora
Spend your brief moment according to nature’s law, and serenely greet the journey’s end as an olive falls when it is ripe, blessing the branch that bare it and giving thanks to the tree that gave it life. quote from Marcus Aurelius [philosophers/resources]
Manhã de Carnaval – Al di Meola – Paco de Lucía – John McLaughlin

Lovely video that you choose, dear Isadora. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I really like guitar music. Paco de Lucia is my favorite. I regret very much that he died. I cried when it happened. 😦
Have a wonderful weekend, dear Isadora.

thank you, dear Isadora, for quoting the music of those great famous guitarists (R.I.P. Paco de Lucia); but maybe you know “Manha de Carnaval” is also in my own repertoire – and part of the stage repertoire of my local music stars, which I often met in their tiny neighbourhood music pub): Kai Heumann and Mike Reinhardt, so let me dare another YouTube quotation:

I am very impressed, Frizz. To have been able to listen to these great musicians in person must have been wonderful. The flavor of their music is what I love the most. They seem to feel every note. Outstanding video you’ve posted for me to hear. I think the relaxed atmosphere creates a more intimate setting. I’m glad that they are guitarist that you knew about.
As you can see, I adore guitar playing of every genre. ~~~~ : – )

(please don’t compare with the creativity of the world’s most famous guitar heroes!)

There are many, many favorites that get forgotten since there
are others coming up and replacing them. This is a favorite one
of mine. Classical music at a cafe relaxing with someone special
is my idea of a great afternoon. It’s nice to know someone else knows John M.
Glad you enjoyed this post, Gilly.
