June is often thought of as the month for graduations. For me, it was the month of May.
My granddaughter, Nadia, was the first with her high graduation right here in Florida. She will be attending the University of Miami studying Veterinarian medicine.
Her Mother, Nicole, graduated 1 week later in Albany, New York from the University of Albany. She graduated with honors with a double major in psychology.
It was a long road for my daughter to arrive at this pinnacle moment in her life. After a great many journey’s down a variety of paths, for the past 18 years, she rose above all of her adversities to accomplish this commendable honor.
It goes without saying that her father and I are extremely proud of her perseverance. She takes all of the credit for what she has accomplished. She attended school, worked, raised her daughter Nadia and her son Jeffrey, paid all of her school and life expenses as a single mother.
One week after graduation she began working at a facility that helps physically and mentally abused women.
It isn’t my personality to brag but in this case …. I am.

Isadora what a beautiful snapshot of a lovely family, what a gifted and talented woman your daughter is. I think it is important to brag about such wonderful events in your life, after all there are so many ups and downs. Keep sharing these uplifting moments, the world needs more positiveness.

As you can see by the date, I’m a bit behind in my responses to comments. I am a firm believer
that if someone takes the time to visit my blog they deserve a reply. My apologies for the delay.
Yes … there are moments when we need to share the accomplishments of our children. I suppose it validates us as parents that we’ve done a good job in raising them. I appreciate your kind words and thank you for always visiting my blog. 😍

Yes, it was a difficult road for her. At times, her will to go on was tested but she persevered.
Her determination is a testament to her strong character. While raising her as a small child
I hoped that her strong character would serve her well. I suppose it did.
Shimon, thank you for visiting and leaving your very nice comment. I truly appreciate it.

Your compliment is lovely … blushing. I do dislike putting family photos on my blog but this was two specials days and fit the WordPress challenge ‘Brag’ so well.
My daughter is of strong character and determination. In this case, it helps her tremendously.
Thanks ,,, ❤
