Gardening is the art that uses flowers and plants as paint and the soil and sky as canvas.
~~~ Elizabeth Murray ~~~
When the time has come for precious flowers to leave us,
they play a cherished symphony of shades of color for us to further enjoy.
Too often our fear of endings grasps our emotions
We banish them to the disposable world
And their beauty ends too soon.
I’m pleased I was able to help bring a bit of sunshine to the start of your day. I like violin playing too. She has a bit of Celtic music in her sound. She’s such a pretty little thing to look a too. Hope the rest of your day is just as happy!!!! 😃
Such joyous music, Issy. Dying blooms still have some beauty about them, as your photo clearly shows. 🙂
Lindsey Sterling is a wonderful musicians. I love the way her videos are always joyful as is her music. 💖
I’m fascianted by the stages of a flower as it starts to fade. The colors somehow seem more intense. I’m so pleased, Sylvia, that you can see the beauty in them fading too. 😊
Yes, I can see the comparison. I find the stages of a fading flower fascinating in that the colors change dramatically each day. But, I love your comment and hope you’ll visit again. Thank you for coming by. 🌹
Gosh, I’m confused. The video with Life’s Waning os of Lyndsey Sterling. The video with the landfill jids is on my post Rythym Stop it Loud. No matter .. I’m pleased you enjoyed that one as they are children who have risen ablove poverty to create beautiful music from garbage.
Thanks for stopping by, Linda. 😊
We had a little rain with wind and the leaves were falling. The gentle drops and rattling of the screens did make music. 🙂
Beautiful video.
There is sound in silence as Simon and Garfunkel once sang about. Raindrops can produce a percussion rythm of music. An insightful comment you’ve left here. Thank you for popping over and leaving it. 😍
The line that sticks out in my mind from this song has always been … “and the people bowed and prayed, to the neon God they made”…., for some reason that line reminds me of the misguided souls who have gotten so caught up in ‘stuff’, they have forgotten about the wonders of nature, and in some cases, I sometimes think, their own humanity.
