Nurture Yourself – Love your LIFE

Nurture Love your Life.web

Too often, we focus on the negative things in our lives.

We lose sight of the wonderful things we do have.

We take for granted those we see everyday because they’re there.

To get around that, I have a 3 hugs a day for 15 seconds rule.

It’s unexpected when given at a spontaneous moment.

It nurtures you by filling you with unimpeded pure love.

It helps those you LOVE know you love them.

And, makes you appreciate that you are loved in return.

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

  5. Random acts of hugging — that’s great! 🙂 As for remembering that there are others struggling to survive, that brought to mind this saying: No matter how bad things get, there’s always someone else who would love to have your problems.

    • Oh, I love that name for it … Random Acts of Hugging. Thanks!!!
Yes, I’ve heard that saying but it’s worth repeating. If we were to step into someones elses shoes we want our own back real quick. I always appreciate your visiting, Meg, and leaving your insightful comments. 😊

  6. My husband gives me hugs at the most unexpected moments. (Usually when I’m doing something VERY IMPORTANT on the computer.
Those hugs are very welcome in the chill of winter. 🙂
Your post seems to indicate that I should give those hugs back. lol Good idea!! I think I can spare the 45 seconds a day. 🙂

    • I think husbands require more attention the older they get. I feel they become more child-like. Hugging gives them a sense of security that you still love them even with their grey hair and retired-selves. Or maybe, they’re just a pain. hahaha Oh, a little mischievious creature rose up in me. 😁 I totally undertsand your plight. My hubby always needs a hug or me to chat with me when I’m doing something that’s important. I love him anyway. LOL 😃
Be sure to keep him around for those very chilly nights ahead. 😍
