Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.
Such an important virtue to cultivate but often neglected with frustration — thank you for sharing a Rumi quote with Nurturing Thursday. Each weeks marks another one closer to your recovery! Take care ❤
In the healing stages that I’m in this quote from Rumi was very meaningful. I’m pleased you enjoyed my
choice for this weeks nurturing, Becca.
Yes, time is passing and healing is progressing but patience is of most importance.
Namaste 🙏
Rumi has a great many quotes that I like.
I do think it can be difficult to practice some of these thoughts. Meditation seems to help
me to practice them more. I find taking time to focus on what’s around me with an eye for every
detail and nuance, as if I were going to never see again, helps connect me to whatever I’m trying
to enjoy.
Thank you for visiting and leaving your thought provoking comment. It a pleasure to meet you.
Namaste,
Isadora 🙏🏻
Dear Lorna,
You give me goose bumps with your kind words. My dedication and desire to reach nirvana may be
the energy you receive from this post. A life in which there is neither suffering nor destruction of self
brings me a calming focus and energy. A love for my existance brings on effects that can help me with karma.
This is the sum of my existence. A dedication that must be put into place daily. A great task that can’t always be met.
Namaste,
Issy 🙏🏻
Isadora,
Beautiful words on the video. support your thoughts. As daily life in our culture increases, patience is more important. Hoping your patient with your recovery.
Dear Frank,
Yes … patience is a big skill to master. Life takes a different road when time seems shorter. I’ve always packed
many things into a day. It didn’t seem like wasting time was a very good thing to do.
Now, I look at slowing down as taking time to focus on what is around me today that may not be there tomorrow. None of us walks through life without trials. I’m blessed that I’ve walked through the fires and have come through without burns. My body is giving me the gift to heal more and more each day.
I always enjoy seeing your comments and visits at my little humble blog. Thank you …!!!!
