Breathe In – Breathe Out
Breathe in, breathe out
Open your eyes
Do you see beauty?
Breathe in, breathe out
Close your eyes
Were you praying too?
Breathe in, breathe out
Let yourself fall
Did someone catch you?
Breathe in, breathe out
Open your heart
Did you let someone in?
Breathe in, breathe out
Reach out your hand
Did someone reach back?
Breathe in, breathe out
It’s time
Are you ready?

You made me smile. I’m thinking of when I meditate. My mind goes to all sorts of places…least of all the breath. But always returning to the breath. Like your poem. So sweet. So you… ❤

Breathing is the most difficult to conquer. It’s the same thing with dancing. Dance teachers
are constatnly empasizing the control of the breathe. It’s the way to manage a long dance.
It seems simple yet isn’t. I believe it’s the reason why Buddhists are always practicing.

Yes, we Buddhists are always practicing because we’re never getting it right! 😉

Yes, we just never seem to get quite there, but that’s okay!

I’m beginning to see a light at the end of my recovery journey. I still have limitations but I’m much more
hopeful. Thank you for asking. Love and Light to you, Elizabeth.
