If you could see the miracle of a single flower clearly,

our whole life would change.  Buddha

A morning delight was waiting for me today.

New little green orchids were smiling and wishing me a good day.

As you can see, there is another bud that needs to open but I just had to photograph it.

The miracle of Mother Nature surprising me everyday.

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

  1. Ah, living in the moment… There’s the “secret” to the life fully lived that’s available to anyone willing to listen and notice. Yet so few do…

    • Orchids or any other type of flower can bring big surprises. This orchid was white last year with one bloom.
This year it’s green with four blooms. Mother NAture playing with us all the time. She’s a fun gal.
I wish more people would see the beauty of being fully in the moment. There would be less stress and more
      things seen. PEACE … !!!!

  4. If I was asked my favourite flower it would be Orchid of all colours. Something enchanting and wondrous about them.

    • Yes, they’re enchanting and wondrous. I think it’s the reason I started to grow them as a hobby.
The shapes and colors are interesting. I would never have thought of a flower looking beautiful
in the color green. The dark purple looks like a friend that’s joined it for tea.
Thanks for visiting, Gerry. Hope you’re feeling well.
