Hans meekly accepted his orders.
He grabbed his tool box.
The ship was a magnificent vessel christened Deutschland. It’s bright yellow color stood out.
Hans made his way up the gangway.
Before he reached the door, he had a creepy feeling.
What undercurrent lay hidden inside?
The electrical fire had burned out the lights. He turned his flashlight on.
Water reached his waist.
What had caused this devastation?
Soon, he’d have the answers.
A bloated body floated by.
Illegal aliens being transported.

I’m glad I took it as challenge, Emilio. You see, I almost didn’t post anything because, at first, the photo had stumped
my thinking. I didn’t have a direction for the story. Then, BAM – like Emerald the Chef – I read your comment and this story came to mind.

Orlop is a new word for me! 😀 Great story Isadora! Sad that the ship is transporting illegal aliens and a bloated body floats by – it reaffirms how desperate some people are to come to the U.S. that the risk their lives to come here even to be on a ship waste deep with water. Excellent story and thank you for your participation.

I find it fun to learn the meaning of new words. The situation in my story seems to be happening more and more
each day. The news seems to be flooded with incidents.
