Sunday Song – A Mother’s Prayer

For those of you who are blessed to have your Mother’s with you, may Mother’s Day be filled with immense joy….!!!!

For those of you have lost your Mother’s, may your day be filled with precious memories of her.

Happy Mother’s Day to All ….!!!!

A Mother’s Prayer (Lyrics)

Isadora & Nicole 540.web

Mothers are the place where LOVE
emerges from the earth
And happiness rings out like bells
in honor of our birth ….

Mothers are the sun that lights
for Life our inner sky
So we may know that we are LOVED
and need not question why …

Mothers are the moon that shines
upon our black despair

So even when we weep, we know
that someones always there …

Mother’s hold their children hands for a short
while but their Hearts Forever

Nobody knows of the work it takes
to keep a home together
Nobody knows of the steps it takes,
nobody knows but a Mother.

Mother’s are Loving
Mother’s are Patient
Mother’s are Giving
Mother’s are Beautiful

No matter which journey
or which of lifes seasons
Mother’s will always be there

If I had a single Flower
for every time I thought of you ….
I could walk in my Garden – Forever Thinking of You.

****** Phhotograph of me and my youngest daughter, Nicole, is part of a gift given to me by my middle daughter, Lori, in an album she created for me several years ago for Mother’s Day. A true treasure of memories on every page. Thank you, Lori Carrozza. ❤️

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

  1. Aw, such a lovely poem, Izzy. I’m thinking about my nearly 83-year-old mom and all of her quirks and I’m thinking of me as a mom. Neither of us are such ideal mothers as in your poem, but we love and are loved. I guess that’s what matters, right?

    • It was a wonderfully relaxed day. There was even a scrabble game challenge involved with hubby who deos not like to play it but I do. 😃
In the evening, my eldest daughter shared the day with me and 2 of her daughters. Her first born is in Europe.
      A blessed day for all.

    • Truer words cannot be said, Tina. Mother’s are the reason we exist even if they weren’t a part of our nurturing.

    • I didn’t know that, Tom. BUT … Mother’s should be celebrated everyday. They are the glue that keeps
      every household together.
