Poetry is a life-cherishing force.
For poems are not words, after all,
but fires for the cold,
ropes let down to the lost,
something as necessary
as bread in the pockets of the hungry.”

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

    • My youngest daughter introduced me to her poems. They are a bit dark. At least, the ones I’ve read so far.
I’ve been listening to sultry singers recently. I enjoy that type of jazzy blues. I’m trying to post different genres
from the popular songs out there. I’m pleased you enjoy, Gilly. 🎼 🎤 🎹
