You,
the one I love.
Pungent,
like the scent of coffee.
Bitter,
like the taste of coffee.
Addictive,
like the yearning for coffee.
You,
the one I love.

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

Ha! Perfect timing, my morning cappuccino is ready just in time to enjoy your post.
Love the artwork that accompanied the song, and, as always, I’m a big fan of your prose.
have a great day Isadora!

I snapped this photograph one afternnon while having a cappuccino at Cafe Bacio on board the Celebrity Cruise ship Equinox.
A little pick me up after a morning of sightseeing. Hope your cafe was yummy. Have a great week.

The song has a very rhythmic sound. PJ, the song is about the shadows of nightfall arriving for when those who have lost love come out to cafes or evening lounges looking for solace. You’d never know it by the beat. : ) The poem is a brief interpretation I wrote after hearing the music several times. Pleased you enjoyed it. Thank You …

I’m sure you would be a great dancer, Gilly. There’s a trend here, right now, where everyone is taking ballroom and Latin dance styles classes. It can be a fun way to exercise. I’ve been doing Zumba. Join a class … 👍🏻 😊
