Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

I’m so sad for the British people. These attacks are devastating.

I wish it was just in England but it seems to be happening all over the world. I pray that a solution will should be found. Thank you, PJ. Have a peaceful week. Issy 😎

It’s difficult to stay positive and joyful in the midst of such terrible tragedies all around us.
Blessings to them all. Thank you, Frank.

That song gives me goose bumps every time I hear it. It touches something very deep in me. Blessings to all who are suffering from these unconscionable attacks of violence. ❤

I agree with you, Gayle. The song has a magically mystical feel that travels through my being. I can listen to his poetic songs all day.
Perhaps, you missed a post I wrote on him. https://insidethemindofisadora.com/2016/11/13/sunday-song-if-it-be-your-will/
It’s frightening to know that we live in a world where there is so much violence.
Sad 😞

I just went and visited your wonderful posting of tribute and the song “If It Be Your Will” which I had never heard before. It made me teary. Yes, way too much violence these days. I wonder why so many people have wanted to create such a world of hate? Thank you, Izzy. ❤

Leonard Cohen has the most meaningfully poetic songs. He’s a favorite I listen to often. Glad I directed you to someone new.
The first time I heard “If It Be Your Will” I cried and had to stop playing his album. If you haven’t heard – “Dance Me to the End of Love”
you might want to pop over and listen. I danced to this song with my hubby on our last anniversary in our living room. Be sure to have tissues. Have a dry weekend. We’ve been inundated with rain non-stop. I’m happy for the plants – my orchids – and the trees and grass.
Namaste

I will listen to that other song, Izzy, and will have tissues at hand…thanks for the heads up!
We had more rain this weekend after being rainy most every day last week. The plants are loving it for sure. Maybe the coming week will be a little drier so at least we can get about without too much trouble. Enjoy your week ahead, Izzy. Namaste and hugs for you…Gayle

Indeed yes. My cousin’s girl is going to the Ariadne Grande concert in Manchester tonight which is being held in honour of those who suffered a couple of weeks ago. Youngsters are having to cope with things that are impossible for older people to comprehend. 🙏
