Sunday Song – Hallelujah

A tribute to those who lost their lives in London. May they heal from this horrific event. Blessings 🙏

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

  4. That song gives me goose bumps every time I hear it. It touches something very deep in me. Blessings to all who are suffering from these unconscionable attacks of violence. ❤

    • I agree with you, Gayle. The song has a magically mystical feel that travels through my being. I can listen to his poetic songs all day.
Perhaps, you missed a post I wrote on him. https://insidethemindofisadora.com/2016/11/13/sunday-song-if-it-be-your-will/
It’s frightening to know that we live in a world where there is so much violence.
      Sad 😞

      • I just went and visited your wonderful posting of tribute and the song “If It Be Your Will” which I had never heard before. It made me teary. Yes, way too much violence these days. I wonder why so many people have wanted to create such a world of hate? Thank you, Izzy. ❤

        • Leonard Cohen has the most meaningfully poetic songs. He’s a favorite I listen to often. Glad I directed you to someone new.
The first time I heard “If It Be Your Will” I cried and had to stop playing his album. If you haven’t heard – “Dance Me to the End of Love”

you might want to pop over and listen. I danced to this song with my hubby on our last anniversary in our living room. Be sure to have tissues. Have a dry weekend. We’ve been inundated with rain non-stop. I’m happy for the plants – my orchids – and the trees and grass.
          Namaste
