This is a repost from February of 2015. I believe it’s a post that’s needed at this time.
Bombarded with stresses from Hurricane Irma here in Florida,
the following week paralyzed us with Hurricane Maria which pummeled the island of Puerto Rico.
I have family there. The island has no power or phone service.
The roads have been washed away or have electric poles block their exiting.
To say I’ve been stressed is an understatement.
I’ll be back on a regular basis soon.
Love those you hold dear to your Heart.
Namaste 🙏🏻

The way to love anything deeply is to realize that it may be lost to you one day.

A Gift of Love
Without you,
Life is just existing,
With you,
Life is worth living
You put a name on the
Songs birds sing,
And you bring the smell of flowers
To a breezy spring
You are my sun,
You are my moon
Please get well
And come home soon.

February is the month in which we celebrate LOVE.
I am a hopeless romantic as is my husband.
He wrote this poem for me when I was in the hospital two years ago.
chris barber , feat.monty sunshine , petite fleur
My husband plays several instruments; clarinet, trumpet and cornet.
We met in band class when we were both playing clarinet.
He still plays for fun and for me. Dixieland jazz is his favorite genre.
Chris Barber is one musician he enjoys listening to and play along with.
This seemed like the perfect way to add LOVE to this week.

Honestly, Frank, I’ve been through many hurricanes. Hurricane Charlie destroyed my middle daughters house. We were devsatated by the loss. She has since moved to South Carolina. Ths stress was too much. We had little fixable damage. We did it ourselves. No putting in for insurance. Others needed the help more.
This time it was different with Hurricane Irma. I hope to chroncile the events. People need to knwo what John Q. Public experiences. I never thought I would be that guy. A reality check with fear producing anxiety and frustrations by my side. Thank you for stopping by with your supportive words. It’s of gerat relief to know that people understand this was some serious stuff.
Hope you have a gloripus weekend with peace and tranwulity visiting at every moment.

Hi Isadora, hope the things are getting better by now. I didn’t know you play music, it’s so lovely. My younger son plays flute. I love to listen to it when he is playing. Have a great weekend!

Mi Querida Amiga,
I can’t imagine what you’ve been through between storms. It seems so trite to say that you’re in my thoughts and prayers…and of course that phrase is being blasted all over Facebook. Pero, es la verdád. Lovely post.

It is a message we do need this week, Isadora. Praying for your family, and my friends on PuertoRico. So many tragedies for our nation recently. So very sad. So many more hours spent in prayers.

There is no word yet from those left in Puerto Rico. Hurricane Maria devastated the island. It’s so sad to know that even my parents who are buried in the US Military cemetary may no longer be there. I have a sister and her husband who I have not heard from due to the electric being destroyed. My borther is in an institution for the mentally incapacitated and no word from that institution either. Time … is my only solution to this.
Always good to see you here. Your positove words have been of comfort. Thnak you.
