Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

I think we become more aware of what is important as we get older. Being more introspective on being the best we can be as a person, more than what material things, becomes a natural everyday behavior.

Yes, ambition and wisdom often can be far apart. I think it’s because people have a tendency to form ambitions while young, without taking much time to reflect on whether they might benefit from some revision as time goes by.
I agree, Meg. Youth forces us to look at the possibilities ambition can provide for us. As we get older, they start to change places with each other. I’m pleased to be in the place I am now. It’s a bit more peaceful. Thank you for your isnightful comment and for visiting.

It’s difficult to have only wisdom, as daily survival and needs are very important too.
I believe, sometimes, we lose sight of human beings and fail to interact and connect.
It’s something social media is stealing from the young. I wonder what to come in the future.

Yesterday, on the local news, in my area, a 13 year old boy killed someone.
What is going on with people and our youth?

It’s been difficult to get my routine back. The Spring flowers are blooming
and the weather is delightful. I’m enjoying it while it’s here. Soon the humidity will strangle us. LOLOL
