Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.
After our guide gave us a tour of the church we were free to wander around. My first choice was to go back to this calm garden courtyard. It was very tranquil even with people all around. Glad you enjoyed, Sue.

We enjoyed our visit very much. It was very hot but it was also August.
I hope you have a grand time. Thank you for stopping by and commenting.
I’ll pop over to your blog …

It was a beautifully peaceful place for us to sit during our free time after our tour of La Popa Church in Cartagena, Colombia. Thanks, PJ. Can you believe it’s Friday? Where did the week go? Have a fabulous weekend … Issy 😎
It’s the courtyard where St. Francis day and wrote. It’s t a monestrry in the hills of Cartagena. The church is quaint. I’m pleased you found it peaceful. 😎
Mmmmm … I see another comment I posted didn’t show up.
Well, I guess it’s back to the beginning with this issue.
Thanks, Gayle. It was a perfect spot for a little respite from touring and the heat.

such a nice location and the words were well laid out.
The one part that really spoke to me – was the sitting for hours and hours
there are times to enjoy something in spurts – but to know that kind of relaxing is a gift –

Like Janet said, I think I could sit there for most of a morning or afternoon. Peacefulness exudes from your lovely poem, Izzy. xo
