Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings,

turn routine days into joy,

and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

  12. Querida Isadora,

I enjoyed reading your list as much as I enjoyed writing my own. It’s fun to read the different, yet similar lists. If only the world leaders would focus on such thing…what a different place it might be. Well done, amiga.

  14. What a wonderful list, Issy, and a wonderful reminder to count our blessings. I’ve struggled at work recently to have an attitude of gratitude (or just a positive outlook), but I’m going to try to get it back for this upcoming year.

    • The Gratitude challenge is open until January 15th if you’d like to give it a go. I found the timer (timer has to be set for 15 minutes) unnerving. I don’t work well under pressure but I managed to get a good amount down. I forgot, beach walks, sunsets, ice cream and my cat King Pelu and a few more. He’s been looking at me strangely today. I think he knows. LOL

  18. Isadora, it’s son wonderful to reconnect! It’s especially wonderful to do it via my annual gratitude challenge. I love to see who will participate, and what they will contribute. Your list is so poetic and lovely; it exudes YOU! I am really touched by your loving acknowledgement of your husband; what a tribute to your relationship and your appreciation of that. Thanks so much for adding to this year’s wonder; I’m grateful! xo

    • I love spreading positive energy through the blogosphere. There’s way too much negativity that at times one feels overwhelmed from it. I do my best everyday to think about the many special people and things I have in my life. I’m blessed and never take that for granted. When I start to feel negative I pop on my meditative music or dance or read uplifting material. We can all get down from time to time or feel like life is beating us up. It’s the getting up and moving forward, past it, that will fill our lives with joy and love again.
My hubby and I have been married 53 years this past August. A feat that takes a lot of determination. Love isn’t the only way to keep a marriage going. It’s the caring and helping of the other person through their up’s and down’s and, sometimes, sitting in silence acknowledging that they just need to sit and be.
Thank you for hosting this well-needed Gratitude celebration.
      Isadora 😎😍
