Inside the Mind of Isadora

Sunday Song – Caught Out In The Rain

She wanted him.

 More than he ever knew.

Invisible to him,

she couldn’t let him know.

 Within seconds,

he could make her feel

like a thousand years

of wanting him,

of being with him,

of loving him,

wasn’t enough.

Yet,

She was willing to embrace,

all the fragments he gave her.

Because,

every second and every moment

together with him

was a piece of his life for her.

Sunday Song – Caught Out In The Rain

Author: Inside the Mind of Isadora

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

    • Drew,
Thank you for this outstanding comment. I am having difficulty with this permanent smile I’m wearing at the moment. I have quite a few of those types of poems. I should add them more often. So many words so little time to spread them. : )
Presently, as you know, we are preparing for a visit from Hurricane Dorian. Hope your prepared. Have you been to a hurricane seminar? Water, peanut butter, bread, water, candles, flash lights, water, battery radio, fruits, water …. anywho: better to be ready than to fall victim.
Gosh …. thank you seem so small in comparison to your kind comment. Sending prayers of gratitude.
      Isadora 😎
