If I could Interview God

~ If I could Interview God ~

Why do you allow us to have pain?
If you never felt pain, then, how would you know that I am a healer?

Why must we pray?
If you never had to pray, then, how would you know that I am a deliverer?

Why do you give us so many obstacles?
If you never had a trial, then, how could you call yourself an overcomer?

Why do you give us sadness?
If you never felt sadness, then, how would you know that I am a comforter?

Why do you allow us to make mistakes?
If you never made a mistake, then, how would you know that I am a forgiver?

Why do you take us to where we feel broken?
If you were never broken, then, how would you know that I can make you whole?

Why must we suffer?
If you never had any suffering, then, how would you know what I went through?

Why must we walk through the fires of life?
If you never went through the fire, then, how would you become pure?

Why must we make mistakes only to correct them later?
If I never corrected you, then, how would you know that I love you?

When will we have our own power?
If you had all power, then, how would you learn to depend on me?

Why can’t we have a perfect life?
If your life was perfect, then, what would you need me for?

Love, God

The concept for these questions came from this video I had seen several years ago.

I hope you’ll take the time to view it. I found it most enlightening.

~Enjoy ~

Just a Thought: often when we lose hope and think this is the end,

GOD smiles from above and says, “Relax, it’s just a bend, not the end!”

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

  1. Isadora, this is beautiful. I loved it. Thought-provoking and comforting, all at the same time. His thoughts are surely higher than ours, His ways higher than ours.

I hope you won’t mind an editorial comment? You might want to consider putting God’s replies in italics, or a different type-face or size, for the sake of clarity.

    • I’m happy you enjoyed reading this. I thought you might. I believe we’re all in need of reading things that can give us hope. There are many who need reminders of how – ‘How Great Thou Are’.

I like when I can learn something that will improve my writing skills. I don’t mind at all. I truly appreciate your taking the time to come back and read, plus a bonus edit. Fantastic.!!!
Thank you … Stay safe … Be happy … Be blessed … Isadora 😎

    • I’m happy you enjoyed this little write.
Normally, I don’t add this type of post with religious material but these are trying times. We all have questions and need some of us type of faith. I hope you’re taking care of yourself. Thsis isn’t a time to overdo and wind up in a hospital. Be safe … Be happy Isadora 😎
