Midnight bells echoed in the birth of 2021, a new year of creating a better life than we’d had. 2020 hadn’t been a good year. A virus had spread from day one.
The government issued a stay-at-home quarantine. Masks and sanitizers were mandated. People changed, angry from isolation, rules, and restrictions.
Old hobbies such-as board games, art projects, and cooking together helped relieve tensions. Families grew closer in isolation; some didn’t.
Life was becoming art, brushstrokes creating paintings.
Each painting different; your family, your life.
Splashes of artful color bringing out something unique from inside of us.

So timely and true, Isadora. Sometimes it feels like a painting, but it’s real and we have to make the best of it.

Life becoming art, or art life? Either way, good story well told.

I hope people can learn to adjust without anger and unpleasantries. Change can be a good thing. Life is a journey, there will be bumpy roads along the way. This is just a pothole in life we need to fill in.
All is well, aFrank. I am back in the 50’s & 60’s when women wore cotton gloves. Yes, I use a face maks too whenever I go out to an emergency appiontment. Such as: MD, Dentist, Eyecare. Life needs to be lived just cautiously. And, I am. Hope you are too. I will miss ‘Dancin’ with the Stars’. The new format isn’t looking interesting, nor is the new host. I know … always with the dancing. LOL
Miss your blog but understand your thoughts on it. I have feelings like that from time to time with mine too. Have a super weekend …

Querida Rochelle,
We have one thing we can control in all of this chaos and that is how we view it. There’s plenty of negative thinking. It’s hopeful to think there’s a better year ahead. After all, some of us have less years to look forward to than others. Gracias, mi amiga por leer mi cuento. Siempre un placer verla aqui.
Abrazos y Carino,
Isadora 😎 😍

Perhaps 2020 wasn’t entirely a bad year, then. I love the way you see the seeds of change in the situation

Just like a tree, if we don’t bend in the wind, we may break if we’re too rigid. I want to believe that all of this will have a positive reason for happening. It may well bring families back to being present with each other. If only I had a crystal ball … 😄 Thanks, Neil. Have a relaxing weekend.

Without hope for a better future, we’re left in a swamp of negativity. Lots of banter and finger pointing and anger isn’t good. Let’s hope by the end of the year we can all shine our colors brightly. Thanks, Tom. You comment are always perfect. Have a relaxing weekend … Isadora 😎

Thank you, Ivor. It’s been a bit of a struggle without inetenet service for a wekk. In a way, it was good. I wrote more, read more and even did nothing more. 😁 Have we forgottem what it’s like to be without internet? I did. Now, I have mixed feelings. Perhaps, time limits.
Now, you’ll have to post some of that artwork and wood your working. I love the earthy scent of wood when it’s being cut. Have a fantastic weekend. Be safe … but … Mostly be Happy … Isadora 😎
