Look not for beauty,

nor color of skin,

but, for a heart,

that is loyal within.

For, beauty may fade,

and, skin grow old,

but, a heart that is loyal,

will never end.

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

  3. Another wonderful poem from the heart. I had to laugh at the thought of a poem mentioning fading beauty followed by a video of a beautiful young woman.

    • Aaahh, yes, it is a poem from the heart. I added his name at the end. It was a poem he wrote to recite at our remarriage 50th anniversary. Thank you for feeling his words. She is indeed a beautiful woman with exceptional music ability. Ironically, it fits the fading beauty line becuase the years together began with the beauty of youth (18 & 19 years old). It’s a post that just flowed from my mind and expressed what a life of love can be. Gracias, Isadora 😍
