I wish for a road
That is sunny and clear,
Filled with love’s blessings
And, friends who are dear.
I wish for blue skies.
And fields filled with flowers,
Fragrance and colors
To last seasonal hours.
It happens; I like
A mist on my face,
It’s a way to enjoy
Heaven’s embrace.
And soon, as time passes.
The season will change,
To welcome a crisp wintery stage
When life may not seem so sublime.
Most of all, I’m enthralled.
By a soft, fragrant flower,
That dances from Heaven
And sets hearts aglow.
I will never forget.
The joy and the glee,
I feel in my soul
As you give your love to me.

WOW … I’m touched, Dale. Thank you. Every so often I go back to the days of why I started blogging. I had wanted to write better poems. ai like writing because I’m so wordy. But, FF has taught me to condense my words. I guess there’s always something we can do to improve ourselves. Have a great day …

Enjoyed this poem, Isadora. It speaks of calm amidst change of seasons, and changing of seasons is a beautiful thing. And so is love. Love that last line ‘As you give your love to me.’ Such a great feeling when you love and feel loved.

Sweet words for my poem, Mabel. Thank you so very much. I love the changes that Mother Earth showcases for us. Her artwork is never the same. All the more reason to venture out everyday and see her beautfiul art. Amor: Love – there can never be too much. The feeling is engulfing. Stay Safe 😷 Isadora 😎

My maternal great grandparents were Taino Indians (native Puerto Ricans) who taught my grandmother
to take care of the earth. They were farmers and keepers of the land. The Carib Indians (my husband’s family)
were fisherman. They revered the waters surrounding the island. We should all treasure and respect the land and waters.
Have a wonderful weekend … Isadora 😎

I totally agree, Ivor. Nature creations should be appreciated everyday. How is your garden? Walt Whitman quote 👍🏻
