Honestly, this conversation is over.
Why, Miranda, why?
Because it’s my room and I’ll keep it whatever way I wish.
But Auntie Helga will be staying in your room while she visits.
And, your point?
Well, Auntie needs space to do her scrapbooking. You know how much she enjoys her hobby. She needs space.
If I tidy up, I’ll never find my stuff again. I’m a writer; we need our itty bits of paper, post-its, and books to complete our stories. Besides, Aunt Helga will only be here a week.
I guess you’re right. Okay, let’s watch a movie.

Stick to your guns, Miranda. Just keep an eagle eye out for your auntie. I suspect she may be capable of tossing all your bits and pieces in the trash to make room for all her own bits and pieces!

I think Miranda seems like a strongly opinionated young lady. She’ll be keeping Auntie in line. lol Thank you, Linda. I’m glad you chimed in.

Querida Isadora,
I relate to Miranda. My room is my room. I don’t clean it for company. It is what it is. If you don’t like it, don’t enter. 😉 I’d say Auntie can live without her scrapbooking for a week. 😉 Bien escrito mi amiga.
Shalom y abrazos,
Rochelle

Querida Rochelle,
I believe everyone should have their own space and keep it in whatever way they choose. Hopefully, Auntie doesn’t try to rearrange anything. I think a guest room would help that, for sure. 😀 I’m glad you enjoyed this lil tid bit os a story, mi amiga.
Gracias … Abrazos y Carino,
Isadora 😎

Most of my home I’m happy to share, but where I am sitting right now is mine and mine alone!

I must admit, I don’t like to see anyone sitting at my writing space or in my woman/cave. We all need our private space. Thanks … 😎

I’m happy she did too. I think certain areas need to be respected especially if its someones room. Thanks, Margaret. I appreciate your visit and comment.

Let’s hope Auntie Helga doesn’t do a spot of tidying up during her visit.

Your little story made me look around, Isadora. Honestly, I would have to read the notes and then try to remember why I wrote them. Well done.

Auntie Helga can do her scrapbooking at home. Miranda’s mom has a good solution.

I didn’t realise how much I valued my own little space until I read this and thought of someone else occupying it.

You’re right, Lisa. It’s so true. Parents just have to have open dialog. After all, kids are human too. LOL

HA HA I thought the link was for a poem. Your photo put a smile on my face as it shows the mind of a writer, for sure. Thanks for adding it, Ivor. I don’t spread out to every room. I have a she cave/office which is the only area that isn’t tidy in my home. But, don’t ask my hubby he’d say it’s tidy too. LOL
