Weekend Humor – 3

Lovemaking tips for Seniors

1. Wear your glasses to make sure your partner is actually in the bed.

2. Set timer for 3 minutes, in case you doze off in the middle.

3. Set the mood with lighting. (Turn them ALL OFF!)

4. Make sure you put 911 on your speed dial before you begin.

5. Write the partner’s name on your hand in case you can’t remember.

6. Use extra poly grip so your teeth don’t end up under the bed.

7. Have Tylenol or whatever you use ready in case you actually complete the
act.

8. Make all the noise you want … The neighbors are deaf,  too.

9. Don’t even think about trying it twice.

10. If it works, call everyone you know with the good news even if it is 8:00 pm.

Weekends used to be my downtime from social media.

During our current crisis, media has become our way of communicating.

To brighten up your spirits here is a silly joke.

If you have a post with something humorous, be sure to leave it in the comment area.

I’m always up for a laugh or two. I hope you are too.

LOLOL … have a Happy Week 😎

Nurture Yourself – In Quiet

Human self-reflection is the capacity of humans to exercise introspection

and the willingness to learn more about their fundamental nature, purpose, and essence.

🙏Namaste🙏

I honor the place in you

in which the entire universe dwells.

I honor the place in you

which is of Love, and of Truth,

of Light and of Peace.

When you are in that place in you

and I am in that place in me.

We are One.

There I was sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig.

“Well, what are you gonna do about it?” he says, menacingly, as I burst into tears.

“Come on, man,” the biker says, “I didn’t think you’d CRY. I can’t stand to see a man crying.”

“This is the worst day of my life,” I say.

“I’m a complete failure.

I was late for a meeting and my boss fired me.

When I went to the parking lot, I found my car had been stolen and I don’t have any insurance.

I left my wallet in the cab I took home.

I found my wife with another man … and … then my dog bit me.

“So I came to this bar to work up the courage to put an end to it all.

I buy a drink, I drop a capsule in and sit here watching the poison dissolve, and then you show up and drink the whole damn thing!”

But hell enough about me,  How are you doing?”

When we think things can’t get any worse, there’s always something lurking.

Nurture Yourself – with Love

Today, I’m trying to get myself back into writing on my blog.

It’s been a difficult start in 2020. I wish I could reboot the year.

I plan on being more consistent. I don’t know what direction I will journey.

I do know I will showcase more writing and fewer challenges.

Everyone, please stay safe during this COVID 19 time.

We’re all fighting the battle together.

This is a post from 2014 to get me back on track.

 Ironically, it’s befitting for our lives now.

Love saying.web

I gift myself with the power to LOVE myself.
My LOVE will provide for me a life without restrictions or judgments.
LOVE, you show me the path I must travel.
You are my direct route to my destiny.
Today, everyone will be touched by my HEART.
I want the LOVE in me to be the light that brings LOVE to you.
🙏🏻Namaste🙏🏻

Sunday Song – All That Jazz

Isadora Duncan: the grand dame of modern dance. Once ridiculed for her dancing style,

she forged on to create a new impressionistic style all her own.

 All That Jazz – Bib Fosse Tribute – w/ scenes from Chicago, Cabaret and Sweet Charity.

~~~~~~~~~
 I’m posting my Sunday Song on Saturday because I thought there might be Broadway Musical lovers out in the blogosphere.
Frank@A Frank Angle is hosting a musical called Songs of Broadway today. If you’d like to participate and view the guidelines click here.
It’s fun finding a song to will go with the concert theme. Songs of Broadway is the theme.
The 2nd video All That Jazz – Bye-Bye Life showcases a lot more dancing and broadway’s style.
~~~~~~~~

As a former dancer of many styles – tap, ballet, jazz, ballroom, and modern dance – I’ve decided to add a pix of my

All That Jazz” apparel from the play I was in … Enjoy!!!

Sunday Song – The Beauty of the Dancer

You see the beauty of the dancer,

You hear the beauty of the song,

You feel the beauty all around you,

You wonder where do you belong.

You are the beauty of the dancer,

You are the beauty of the song,

You are the beauty all around you,

You’re standing right where you belong.

All above you,

All below you,

All around you,

All within you.

Beauty all above you, beauty all below you,

Beauty all around you, beauty all within you

You are beauty

You are beauty
