The 3 Day Quote Challenge – Day 3

Nothing is worth more than this day.

©Johann Wolfgang von Gotthe

In this challenge, we’re told to write a quote and explain why we like it.

I like this quote because it reminds us that we should be present in our day.

Nothing is more important than to be in the now of the day.

Simple quote with a powerful message for us.

The 3 Day Quote Challenge

Sometimes in the waves of change

We find our true direction ©annonymous

In this challenge, we’re told to write a quote and explain why we like it.

I like gaining insight in words. In these two lines, there is a great deal to learn.

We hesitate changing where we are even if we’re unhappy. We’re comfortable.

Change means adjusting to something new.

I love sitting at the beach and watching the waves hit the shore.

Each one is different. They never seem to mind that they are going to change the next time they

come to shore. If we can accept the changes in our lives, we just might find a better place to be.

If I could Interview God

~ If I could Interview God ~

Why do you allow us to have pain?
If you never felt pain, then, how would you know that I am a healer?

Why must we pray?
If you never had to pray, then, how would you know that I am a deliverer?

Why do you give us so many obstacles?
If you never had a trial, then, how could you call yourself an overcomer?

Why do you give us sadness?
If you never felt sadness, then, how would you know that I am a comforter?

Why do you allow us to make mistakes?
If you never made a mistake, then, how would you know that I am a forgiver?

Why do you take us to where we feel broken?
If you were never broken, then, how would you know that I can make you whole?

Why must we suffer?
If you never had any suffering, then, how would you know what I went through?

Why must we walk through the fires of life?
If you never went through the fire, then, how would you become pure?

Why must we make mistakes only to correct them later?
If I never corrected you, then, how would you know that I love you?

When will we have our own power?
If you had all power, then, how would you learn to depend on me?

Why can’t we have a perfect life?
If your life was perfect, then, what would you need me for?

Love, God

The concept for these questions came from this video I had seen several years ago.

I hope you’ll take the time to view it. I found it most enlightening.

Just a Thought: often when we lose hope and think this is the end,

GOD smiles from above and says, “Relax, it’s just a bend, not the end!”

Transformation into Wearable Art

It all begins with a skein of yarn, a pattern and knitting needles.

The results: a wearable cowl neck scarf.

A warm neck apparel for those nippy cold days.

Let’s make sure our head is cozy warm too.

Recently, I’ve begun to relearn a skill I had from the late 1960’s.

I started making knitted items for my first born daughter back then.

Times were lean. Making items she could wear in the cold weather helped our budget a lot.

Now, I’ve begun to knit for the relaxation and calming effects it has.

The bonus is that I get to gift them to those who can benefit from their use.

These items were sent to my third born daughter who lives in

Albany, New York where it is 35 degrees right now.

Hope you enjoyed my creations.

Friday Fictioneers – In the Garden

She was waiting for him in the garden. He’d gone to get some wine for their moonlight stargazing tonight. He was always very romantic.

Walking among his many prize-winning roses, she was enveloped by their aroma. There were many varieties. He was proud of his green thumb.

Turning, she saw him running towards her.

“Mona!”

“My precious flower. The love of my life”.

He finally said it.

Oh, Pierre!

“Mona, my flower!”

“Oh, Pierre! I love you too!”

Pierre reached her. He knelt down and moved her foot aside.

“My flower!”

“You were standing on my prized-winning flower.”

I am unique
I can’t make people value me.
All I can do is show them who I am
What I feel,
And what I believe in.
It’s up to them to realize my
Worth
I am unique
