‘I Will Not Tell’

I will not tell

You are my lover.

I will not tell

You are my friend.

I will not tell

My deep sorrow and pain

I will not tell

Without you, I’d go insane.

When will I be free?

Of these, demons inside of me.

When will I know?

No one will hurt me.

When will I feel?

Peace and tranquility

When will I be unbound?

To be happy.

I will not tell

The way you soothe me

I will not tell

My scars have begun to heal.

I will not tell

You saved me.

I will not tell

Without you, I would be a lament.

A Songbird’s Trill


Peacefulness surrounds me

 as I hear a songbird’s trill.

There are times to be quiet

and time to be peaceful.

No peace is greater 

than the one within yourself.

 I drift away so peacefully.

Burning Love


Your love is like a storm of fire

Surrounding me whenever you appear

Sensations, from the heat of your caress,

Burn quickly, through my skin, to scorch my heart,

Your kisses kindle major fires

That flare with craving intensity;

And, when we kiss, the passion that transpires

Ignite the flames of enormous desires.

The flames consume me,

But, the vehement passions are sweet.

They burn and burn, but I relish the heat.
