Friday Fictioneers – Life Erases

Alzheimer was erasing her mother’s life.

Sarah holds the door as her mother shuffles into the club.

Brunch every Sunday after Temple at the Boca Grande Golf and Country club. Father loved golf, a member for years.

A big smile from Cecelia, the hostess, greets us as she escorts us to mothers favorite table. A Mimosa, Mrs. Cohen? Teary-eyed, she remembers past days with Moisha when its placed in front of her.

Your father went far despite Auschwitz, Mother said with a blank gaze. You’re a good girl, Sarah, a good daughter.

At the funeral, Sarah remembered her words.

Nothing to Fear

Life is our journey,

we’re on a new path.

Our moments stolen,

from microbes unknown.

Are we willing to

accept our obstacles?

To travel fearless,

along our roads.

Aspects of life,

are changing,

to coursed places,

strange and new.

Hide all your fears,

there’s nothing to fear,

I’m always with you.

If I could Interview God

~ If I could Interview God ~

Why do you allow us to have pain?
If you never felt pain, then, how would you know that I am a healer?

Why must we pray?
If you never had to pray, then, how would you know that I am a deliverer?

Why do you give us so many obstacles?
If you never had a trial, then, how could you call yourself an overcomer?

Why do you give us sadness?
If you never felt sadness, then, how would you know that I am a comforter?

Why do you allow us to make mistakes?
If you never made a mistake, then, how would you know that I am a forgiver?

Why do you take us to where we feel broken?
If you were never broken, then, how would you know that I can make you whole?

Why must we suffer?
If you never had any suffering, then, how would you know what I went through?

Why must we walk through the fires of life?
If you never went through the fire, then, how would you become pure?

Why must we make mistakes only to correct them later?
If I never corrected you, then, how would you know that I love you?

When will we have our own power?
If you had all power, then, how would you learn to depend on me?

Why can’t we have a perfect life?
If your life was perfect, then, what would you need me for?

Love, God

The concept for these questions came from this video I had seen several years ago.

I hope you’ll take the time to view it. I found it most enlightening.

~Enjoy ~

Just a Thought: often when we lose hope and think this is the end,

GOD smiles from above and says, “Relax, it’s just a bend, not the end!”

Nurture Yourself – with Love

Today, I’m trying to get myself back into writing on my blog.

It’s been a difficult start in 2020. I wish I could reboot the year.

I plan on being more consistent. I don’t know what direction I will journey.

I do know I will showcase more writing and fewer challenges.

Everyone, please stay safe during this COVID 19 time.

We’re all fighting the battle together.

This is a post from 2014 to get me back on track.

Ironically, it’s befitting for our lives now.

Love saying.web

I gift myself with the power to LOVE myself.
My LOVE will provide for me a life without restrictions or judgments.
LOVE, you show me the path I must travel.
You are my direct route to my destiny.
Today, everyone will be touched by my HEART.
I want the LOVE in me to be the light that brings LOVE to you.
🙏🏻Namaste🙏🏻

Friday Fictioneers – It’s Time to Say Goodbye

You left.

Your books left behind as a reminder of your passion; reading.

And, I spent time building something that could not be built.

You showed me I’d counted on the illusion of my heart.

Yes, perhaps, it’s time to say goodbye my love.

These words you dared not want to hear.

For our lives together can’t be built on crumbly silt of sand.

For it would fall upon itself because we tried and failed, persisting in the dream, because I believed it would succeed.

It’s hard to distinguish whether the world we live in is a reality or delusion.

Sunday Song – I’ll Take Care of You

Love one another, but make not a bond of Love;

let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your soul.©Kahil Gibran

Forgiveness does not change the past,

but it does enlarge the future.

Love has no desire but to fulfill itself.

To melt and be like a running brook.

One that sings its melody to the night.

To wake at dawn with a winged heart.

And, give thanks for another day of loving.
