When We Ponder the Stars

When we ponder the stars,

when we reach for our dreams,

we’re never bothered

by how far they seem.

Instead, we are inspired

by the beauty of the vision.

Dreams are like stars

brilliant and permanent.

Friday Fictioneers – Drifting on the Ocean

From the pier, I see you drifting on the ocean.

My little sailboat is calling.

It cries out to me beckoning that I travel upon the open sea.

Let’s sail away wherever the winds take us.

Can you feel the briny water on your sturdy bow?

I feel the oceans salty breeze upon my face, a special caress.

Aimlessly we’ll sail along finding new passages of adventure.

Discovering magical islands where rest and solace are key, and rainbows create a peacefully blissful scenery.

Enchanting islands will embrace me as they appear, while images of amicable islanders wave a welcome greeting.

Nurture Yourself – In Quiet

Human self-reflection is the capacity of humans to exercise introspection

and the willingness to learn more about their fundamental nature, purpose, and essence.

🙏Namaste🙏

I honor the place in you

in which the entire universe dwells.

I honor the place in you

which is of Love, and of Truth,

of Light and of Peace.

When you are in that place in you

and I am in that place in me.

We are One.

If I could Interview God

~ If I could Interview God ~

Why do you allow us to have pain?
If you never felt pain, then, how would you know that I am a healer?

Why must we pray?
If you never had to pray, then, how would you know that I am a deliverer?

Why do you give us so many obstacles?
If you never had a trial, then, how could you call yourself an overcomer?

Why do you give us sadness?
If you never felt sadness, then, how would you know that I am a comforter?

Why do you allow us to make mistakes?
If you never made a mistake, then, how would you know that I am a forgiver?

Why do you take us to where we feel broken?
If you were never broken, then, how would you know that I can make you whole?

Why must we suffer?
If you never had any suffering, then, how would you know what I went through?

Why must we walk through the fires of life?
If you never went through the fire, then, how would you become pure?

Why must we make mistakes only to correct them later?
If I never corrected you, then, how would you know that I love you?

When will we have our own power?
If you had all power, then, how would you learn to depend on me?

Why can’t we have a perfect life?
If your life was perfect, then, what would you need me for?

Love, God

The concept for these questions came from this video I had seen several years ago.

I hope you’ll take the time to view it. I found it most enlightening.

~Enjoy ~

Just a Thought: often when we lose hope and think this is the end,

GOD smiles from above and says, “Relax, it’s just a bend, not the end!”

Friday Fictioneers – Nature Awakens

The morning air is misty.

A slight chill is perfect for my walk.

 It’s eerily quiet today.

Invigorated, I’m ready for my early morning coffee on the lanai.

The view of the garden revives my soul. It’s peaceful. Nature’s tooting her horn with songs of praise to the blooms about to be born. Trees reach out their branches to the sun in a zen posture. Bursting leaves beginning to sprout in verdant colors.

Winters days are slowly departing.Time for spring to emerge and draw near.

Birds fly above with silken wings glistening in the sunlit air. Blue Jays sing.
