Today started with a beautiful gift. 

I’ve been growing this orchid plant for 2 1/2 years.

The green stems on the plant, always look healthy but no flowers.

I’d purchased the plant at a garden sale. There wasn’t a name tag or color listed.As I have a great many purple, lavender, pinky purple and white, I was willing to gamble on what 

color this one was going to be. BUT …. no flowers for 2 1/2 years.

I fertilized. I watered. I placed it in different garden areas for better light.

Nothing ….

Then, this morning, I was given my gift. These glorious yellow and orangey edged blooms.

I love Mother Nature. She never disappoints.
