Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.
I was going to ask when you were there, but you already answered it! I could tell you were in a tropical climate, but there is something about the photo that makes it seem comfortable–even cool. Maybe all the greenery and the white of the arches? Lovely. 🙂
In HOT tropical places, the churches have courtyards with covered pathways to avoid the blazing sun.
It was 95 when we were there in April this year. You can imagine the heat in July or August.
St.Augustine resided there for a short period of time. His spiritual says are everywhere. I might post a few

Yesterday, Saturday, was 95 but they said with the humidity it was more like 103. Yes, I’m reading, watching movies. and have changed to, night swimming. 😎
It was a pleasant little courtyard to take a well-needed rest on the scorching hot summer afternoon when we’d toured the church.

As I sat in this luscious courtyard garden, it took me back to my high school senior year at the Benedictine Monastery I attended. Solemn spirituality 🙏
It was 95 degrees the day we were touring Colombia this past April, 2016.
When we reached this church with all of its shaded spots, I had to sit and rest.
Ironically, I was able to capture a few photographs while seated. 😎
