Sunday Song – I Ain’t Got Nobody

Carnival of Mirth

A gypsy fire is on the hearth,
Sign of the carnival of mirth;
Through the dun fields and from the glade
Flash merry folk in masquerade,
For this is Hallowe’en!

Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

  1. I just looked them up on YouTube, Izzy and became a subscriber. She sings a lot of the songs that my mother sang around the house when I was growing up. Her kids are very talented too. I love that jazzy, New Orleans sound. Thanks for sharing! ❤ to you.

    • I’m glad it brought back fond memories, Gayle.
      This group playing is a family band. They’re only on You Tube. They have a Sunday podcast. They play multiple instruments, sing and, sometimes, do a little dance shuffle. My hubby is a fan. Have a wonderful week.
