Intriguing, sensitive, mysterious, loving, artistic and crackling with excitement for life is a pretty good description of who I am. I just retired from the world of art where I sold my Artfully Designed Handmade Jewelry for 28 years; although, art will always be a part of who I am no matter what venue I choose to express it in.

A lovely mindful meditation that can revive us … allowing the universe to aid us … as well as the knowledge that a new day offers new opportunities for our journey! Thank you, Issy for sharing! ❤ ❤ ❤
I gain a tremendous amount of energy and knowledge from all of the nurturing posts I read from your Nurturing Thursday’s. My research for my own posts help me grow in immense ways. Positive thoughts bring a soothing and calming spirit to my soul. A journey we must all travel to gain a blessed life. 🙏
Isadora your poem reminds me of a lesson on wishes i learnt from a book. I place the wish in my mind inside a yellow balloon and set it free out into the universe. Many of my wishes have come to pass after doing this. Love the poem.
What a beautiful way to help bring a positive thought or wish back to you. It’s a wonderfully positive idea for creating what we want to receive. I hope you will allow me to adopt it. 🙏
May I ask why you imagine a yellow balloon? When I made my jewelry years ago I used semi-precious stones. The colors were very important to my creations. Here is the color yellow :
Yellow
Like the energy of a bright sunny day, yellow brings clarity and awareness. The shade of yellow determines its effect: Yellow-green can mean deceit, and creates a disoriented feeling. Orange-yellow imparts a sense of establishment. Clean light yellow clears the mind, making it active and alert. 🌝
Thanks, Lorna. I was trying to create an artwork with balloons but without actually using balloons since I wanted it to be metaphysical in its’ appearance. Batik is good. I love batik. I used to wear it a lot. Now, it’s difficult to find and I don’t sew. I hope you are able to get to those boxes and enjoy your lovely batiks again soon. ☺️
I like that description very much. I always enjoy reading children’s stories. They have a special innocence we need to gather sometimes. I’m happy your viewing of this took you to that vision. ☺️

Up up and away- ethereal. I like when a post stays in my mind later, as yours will.

Love that backdrop (and the saying). It reminds me of the beautiful batiks I have all packed up somewhere in the garage…sigh. 🙂

This gave me lovely thoughts of children’s stories about the places where we travel in dreams. 🙂
